Raikiri [Originally; Chidori] is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe, and many defensive techniques. Later, Uchiha Sasuke used his Sharingan and the training of Kakashi to also learn the technique. It was given the nickname Raikiri after it was said Kakashi used the technique to cut a lightning bolt in two. Chidori is used for assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, Kakashi and Sasuke's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack.


Chidori Taihō
[One Thousand Birds Cannon]
A variant of Kakashi's Chidori. After seeing both Sasuke's Chidori Nagashi and Kiba's Gatsuga, Kakashi was driven to develop a new technique. This technique concentrates his electrical chakra first into his hand, as though he were going to perform the standard Chidori. The electrical chakra then engulfs the entirety of his form and he launches himself at an opponent, palm leading, in a spinning torpedo-like electrical attack. This technique's power is several times that of the original Chidori, and retains it's piercing properties. Like his Chidori, Kakashi doesn't have to charge up to use this technique, but if he does it's power and speed is increased several times over.

Enjaku
[Small Birds]
A variant of Kakashi's Chidori. This technique concentrates the electrical chakra of his Chidori into his fingers rather than his entire hand and forearm. This gives his fingers piercing properties, and can be used to supplement some Taijutsu techniques [Such as his Sennen Goroshi] to make them far more deadly than they really are. These do not require charging up, and can't be charged up either way.

Raikiri Kunai
[Lightning Edge Kunai]
A variant of Kakashi's Raikiri. This technique concentrates the electrical chakra of his Raikiri into the form of a kunai -- Either on it's own, or through an actual Kunai. These can be thrown or used to supplement his taijutsu techniques, granting piercing properties to kunai. With more chakra, the length of the electric kunai can be extended a bit beyond the size of a regular kunai.

Raikiri Yaiba
[Lightning Edge Blade]
A variant of Kakashi's Raikiri. This technique concentrates the electrical chakra of his Raikiri into his hand and extends it beyond, forming a lightning chakra blade that extends two feet beyond his hand itself. Like all other forms of his Raikiri, this techique has immense piercing properties, and like some of the other techniques it can be charged up to extend it and make it more powerful.

Rasengan
[Spiraling Sphere]
Rasengan was a ninjutsu technique developed over the span of three years by the Fourth Hokage. The technique was taught to his sensei Jiraiya, who then passed it on to the young ninja Naruto years later. Like Kage Bunshin, Naruto would adopt the technique as a signature move and make it all his own. The technique is unlike other jutsu in that it does not require any handseals, it just relied on the ninja's ability to mold chakra. The ninja concentrates a contained, fast, rotating sphere of chakra in the palm of their hand which can cause much destructive impact.

Thus the technique was pure shape manipulation of chakra, unlike most elemental techniques which are shape and nature manipulation. Hatake Kakashi stated the technique was unfinished for this reason, as the Fourth Hokage did not get a chance to add some form of nature manipulation to it and it was even unclear whether it is even possible for an elemental nature to be added. Naruto dedicated himself to this task though, in the hopes of fusing his Wind elemental nature with the Rasengan's shape manipulation. He eventually succeeded after long and hard training, which took advantage of Kage Bunshin's memory absorption capabilities. He was able to finish the jutsu in the span of a few weeks what would have taken a normal ninja numerous years. The new Wind Element version was thus named Fuuton: Rasengan.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu
[Summoning Technique]
A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature. Kakashi has a contract with ninja dogs.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu
[Shadow Clone Technique]
Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

Konohagakure Hiden: Taijutsu Ōugi: Sennen Goroshi
[Konohagakure Secret: Ultimate Taijutsu Technique: One Thousand Years of Death]
Though it is called "Leaf's Ancient Supreme Technique", Sennen Goroshi serves more as an insulting shock technique rather than a skilled Taijutsu technique. The ninja forms their hands into the seal of the tiger, and then jabs their fingers into the nether regions of their target. The result is shocking violation of the targets sanctity and often their launching in the air to stop the awkward feeling.

Fūja Hōin
[Evil Sealing Method]
Fuuja Houin is a Fuuinjutsu technique used to counter-act the effects of a cursed seal. The ninja writes the needed seal characters on the ground and body of the person cursed with the seal. The ninja then forms the needed hand seals and places his hand over the cursed seal and then activates the written seal. The seal characters will then retreat to surround the cursed seal in a circular seal. Though the Fuuja Houin can work well against lesser seals, it will not be able to fully stop a cursed seal placed by a powerful, skilled ninja.

Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu
[Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique]
Narakumi no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.

Kuchiyose: Doton: Tsuiga no Jutsu
[Summoning: Earth Release: Tracking Fang Technique]
Kuchiyose: Doton: Tsuiga no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Earth element. Kakashi will withdraw the tracking scroll from the pouch on his vest and wipe the blood of the one he wants tracked on it. After forming the needed handseals, he will slam the scroll onto the ground. This will release his nin dogs into the earth to follow their excellent sense of smell to track the targets blood. This allows Kakashi to track his short range target, even when he can not see them. This technique can also be used to set up his Raikiri. After finding their target the dogs will emerge from the ground to bite and pin down their target. This can allow Kakashi to execute the Raikiri without fear of a counter attack.

Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu
[Earth Release: Inner Decapitation Technique]
Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu techinque utilizing the Earth Element. The ninja will travel through the ground to appear below their target. They will then surprise their target by then pulling them into the ground. Once in the ground their target is thus immobilized.

Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu
[Water Release: Grand Waterfall Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. After doing the needed hand seals a column of water will circle the ninja and then a large force of water will erupt to hit the attacker. Due to the force of the water the target will be fully enveloped by the water and at its mercy as is pulls them away.

Suiton: Suikōdan no Jutsu
[Water Release: Water Shark Bullet Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a string of hand seals which then causes a column of water to rise from the water and then strike their target.

Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu
[Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target.

Suiton: Suijinheki
[Water Release: Water Encampment Wall]
A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja will first do a string of hand seals and then proceed to blow out a jet of water from their mouth to act as a water barrier from incoming attack.

Suirō no Jutsu
[Water Prison Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby.

Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu
[Water Clone Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.

Kirigakure no Jutsu
[Hidden Mist Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist ninja. The ninja causes the area surrounding their target to be covered in fog. The low visibility allows the ninja to silently and secretly assassinate their target.

Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu
[Fire Release: Grand Fireball Technique]
A Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

Katon: Karyū Endan
[Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Projectile]
The user does a string of hand seals and the proceeds to blow a large jet of fire from their mouth.

Katon: Hiōi
[Fire Release: Flame Shroud]
The user shoots a stream of flame from their mouth which expands rapidly after a certain point, shielding the user from view in a sheet of flames.

Kasai Bunshin no Jutsu
[Fire Doppelganger Technique]
A jutsu that uses any available flame source to make a clone of the user. This clone can only use fire jutsu the originator can use. When struck hard, the clone dispells, leaving a fire where it was.

Kasai Shunshin no Jutsu
[Fire Body Flicker Technique]
A variant of the standard Shunshin. This technique leaves a burst of flame behind the opponent, which can catch enemies off guard and sometimes burn them from the flames.

Daitoppa
[Wind Release: Great Breakthrough]
A Ninjutsu techinque which utilizes the Wind Element. After bringing his hand to his mouth, Orochimaru will blow a large blast of wind capable of leveling almost anything in its way. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

This technique forms a large ball of wind and hurls it at the enemy, doing great amounts of crushing damage to an opponent.

Kazeryu no Jutsu
[Wind Release: Wind Dragon Technique]
This technique forms a dragon of wind that rushes at the enemy.

Kaze Bunshin no Jutsu
[Wind Clone Technique]
Much like the regular Bunshin no Jutsu, this simply creates a clone from wind, which cannot be destroyed as simply as most other clones can, however it costs more chakra to perform than a regular Bunshin. These bunshin can only perform Fūton jutsu belonging to it's originator.

Omote Renge
[Initial Lotus]
A Taijutsu technique which was forbidden due to the strain it puts on a ninja's body. By opening the first of the Celestial Gates, the Initial Gate, the ninja is able to release the restraints in the brain and push the body farther. In Lee's case, he was able to increase his speed and power. To utilize the Omote Renge, Lee first loosens the bandages around his arm. With a quick dash he is suddenly below his target and a quick upward kick sends his opponent skyward. Lee then jumps into the air to place his chest to the back of his opponent. He then wraps his arms and the bandages around his opponent to prevent escape. As the pair begin their fall back to earth, Lee begins to spin downwards at a high rate of speed, driving his opponent head first into the ground. At the last moment Lee himself releases the bandages and jumps to the clear. Though the technique injures his opponent, it also takes its toll on Lee's body as well.

Muon Satsujin Jutsu
[Silent Homicide Technique]
The ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense. Momochi Zabuza was known as an expert in this technique during his times with the Hidden Mist ANBU.
